I learned to become the leader of my pack when I got my first dog, Sadie. This little Jack-chi mix taught me all about dogs and what it takes to become a responsible owner. It is through her that my love of dogs began. I was blessed to have Sadie for 16 years. During our first few years together, I began to volunteer at an animal shelter. Working with different breeds of dogs at the shelter helped me learn to care for them and train them to be respectful and obedient. Due to the work I did with strays, and I have seen countless first-time dog owners struggle with their new dog or puppy, desperate for reliable answers that will help them transition into gratifying dog ownership. Now in my role as a dog trainer, my ultimate goal is to help create happy and confident pet parents raising and training a healthy, well-adjusted, and well-behaved dog.
